User Research

Good products and services can only be successful if the customer will love them. User Research is the first step to understanding the customer needs.

Experience in User Research

User Research is one of the first steps in a good UX process, and it is a crucial element in the agile Design Thinking Process. Different methods help companies to understand their clients better. Due to my many years of experience in marketing at various financial companies, including start-ups, and through my training as a UX designer, I have learned about different methods and applied them myself.

Projects need various research approaches in different phases. There is a broad range of different methods, from user interviews to online surveys. I'm familiar with most of them through my long experience in Marketing for start-ups and international companies and from my UX apprenticeship in 2021. For my UX apprenticeship, had to conduct various research methods in three projects and later analyze the results.

Qualitative Quantitative
Generative Evaluative
Attitudinal Behavioral

Last Projects

I did my last research projects in 2021 as part of developing a financial app and building a new knowledge section on the website of a financial services provider. Due to Corona, the projects took place under challenging conditions and were carried out digitally with modern tools.

„Design is really an act of communication, which means having a deep understanding of the person with whom the designer is communicating.“
